Description

The inscription on the inside of this ceramic nightlight holder is from a fine decorated cross pillar in La Téne style at An Riasc (Reask), an early Christian site which dates from the 4th century, located approx 1.25km East of Ballyferriter village.

The sides of this piece are open, allowing the light to filter through.

This piece would make a lovely gift for anyone with Irish connections, especially to the Dingle Peninsula or for someone that has a love for Ireland and it’s history.

***All of my ceramics are handmade, using a combination of glazes and different coloured glass. If an item is not in stock I will make to order, but please remember that it will vary from the image depicted, each one is unique. Orders can take approx. 4 weeks, sometimes less. Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like a custom/personalised piece. ***
