Description
Ceramic Wall Nightlight holder with the inscription “Suaimhneas” – meaning “Calm/Peace” in Gaelic. This piece has a rough texture at the edges and glass melted in center. The Ogham writing is an ancient form of writing used in Ireland centuries ago, each group of lines symbolises a letter, the word is read from the bottom up. This piece will have a deep meaning for anyone with Irish roots or an appreciation for unique handmade Irish crafts. The colours of the piece is inspired by the Irish landscape, the greens and blues of the wild Atlantic sea and the browns and mustards of the rocky hillsides.
