Ceramic Wall Hanging.

This piece was made during “lockdown” when my primary aim was to protect my family. My work often looks at coastal erosion and the impact it is having on our surroundings. It saddens me to see the land being washed away and I often think what can we do to protect the land, however during the pandemic my aim was to protect my family. This piece , “Le Chéile 1” is a reflection of the walls we built up, protecting our loved ones and being in this together.
